Privacy Policy

PDF Master Lab’s tools process PDF files entirely on your device using WebAssembly and JavaScript libraries that run in your browser tab. When you open a PDF in Merge, Split, Compress or PDF to Image, the file is read locally. It is not transmitted to PDF Master Lab for processing, and we do not receive, store or inspect the contents of your documents.

Because tool processing is client-side, we cannot download or recover a file you processed earlier. After you close or refresh the tab, in-memory working copies are discarded by the browser like other page data.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic such as page views and referrers. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed to measure site usage without using cookies and without fingerprinting or identifying individual visitors. It helps us see which pages are useful so we can improve the site.

The site stores only two preferences in your browser’s localStorage: your theme choice (light, dark or system) and your language preference. These values stay on your device and are used to restore settings on later visits. They are not PDF contents and are not used to track documents you process.

Some pages include affiliate links to third-party products or services. If you click an outbound affiliate link, that partner’s website may set its own cookies or collect data under its own privacy policy. PDF Master Lab does not control those third-party practices. Clicking a link and making a purchase may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you.

If display ads are enabled on the site, third-party advertising vendors — including Google AdSense and its partners — may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions where required, consent for personalized advertising is handled through Google’s certified consent management platform (CMP) integrated with AdSense, not through a separate cookie banner we built ourselves.

You can also use browser controls and industry opt-out tools where available. Ad vendors process data under their own policies when ads are shown.

PDF Master Lab is a general-audience utility site. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the tools. Because core processing happens on-device and we do not require accounts, we do not ask users for age during normal tool use.

Because tool files are not uploaded to us, there is typically no PDF content on our servers to access or delete. If you contact us by email, we will retain that correspondence as needed to respond. To request access to or deletion of personal information you sent us by email, or to ask a privacy question, contact us at microtools.studio@gmail.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, vendors or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we publish revisions. Continued use of the site after an update means you should review the revised policy.
