Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using PDF Master Lab, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site. The tools are provided as a free, browser-based utility. You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with applicable laws where you live.

  • Using the site constitutes acceptance of these terms
  • You must be able to form a binding agreement under your local law
  • If you use the site for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms
  • We may update these terms; the updated date appears at the top of this page

The service we provide

PDF Master Lab offers client-side PDF tools that run in your browser. Files you open for processing are handled on your device and are not uploaded to PDF Master Lab for conversion. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change as we improve the site.

Output quality depends on your source file, browser capabilities and the options you select. You should verify results before relying on them for important submissions, filings or archival storage.

  • Tools include Merge, Split, Compress and PDF to Image
  • JavaScript must be enabled for the tools to work
  • Supported browsers include recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari
  • Maximum file size is 100MB per file, subject to device memory

No warranty on processing results

THE TOOLS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

We do not warrant that output files will be error-free, that compression will achieve any particular size, that text will remain selectable after Strong compression, or that converted images will match a specific print standard.

  • Always preview downloads before submitting them elsewhere
  • Keep originals until you confirm the output is acceptable
  • Browser crashes or memory limits may interrupt processing
  • Third-party viewers may display PDFs differently

Acceptable use and prohibited uses

You may use the site for lawful personal or business PDF tasks. You must not abuse the service infrastructure, attempt to disrupt the site, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, or use automated means that degrade availability for others.

You must not use the tools to process or distribute material when doing so would violate law, including unlawful surveillance material or content you are not allowed to possess.

  • Do not attempt to attack, scrape abusively or overload the site
  • Do not bypass technical limits or security controls
  • Do not use the site to facilitate fraud or unauthorized access to systems
  • Do not upload malware disguised as PDFs to harm others’ devices

Your content and copyright responsibility

You retain whatever rights you already have in the files you process. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to process, modify, combine, extract from or convert each document. PDF Master Lab does not review file contents and cannot grant you rights in third-party works.

  • Only process files you are authorized to use
  • Respect copyright, confidentiality and data-protection duties
  • You are responsible for how you share downloaded results
  • We do not claim ownership of your PDF contents

Limitation of liability and governing law

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PDF MASTER LAB AND ITS OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR INABILITY TO USE IT.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require another jurisdiction’s law. Courts in that location shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. This is not legal advice; if you need advice about your rights, consult a qualified attorney.

  • Use the tools at your own risk for critical documents
  • Our aggregate liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law
  • Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; those limits may not apply to you
  • Mandatory consumer rights in your country remain unaffected where they cannot be waived
